At Nexgen STEM School, we believe that STEM education should be accessible and engaging for ALL students.
Our approach is built around teachers. You will get original, low-complexity projects every term, plus ongoing professional development and support, so clubs are easy to run and fun to teach. This will enable you to build a great STEM club and more importantly a long term STEM culture in your school.
Each project is designed for Years 7-10 and blends a broad set of skills: from coding and circuits to design, teamwork, and fabrication. The goal isn’t just for “the usual suspects,” but to open STEM up to every student, building confidence through hands-on creativity.
With fresh projects each term, clubs stay exciting, sustainable, and accessible. We think it’s a no-brainer and reckon that the best learning happens when students are engaged, having fun & teachers feel supported.
Game Design Workshops & Teacher Training
Game development builds more than just games - it builds skills. Our student workshops (1 day) and teacher PD (2 days) focus on creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and design-thinking. We support all major platforms: Scratch (for juniors and Year 7/8), GameMaker, Godot, Unity, and Phaser (JavaScript) for advanced learners.
We also offer ongoing support - whether by email, phone, or in-person visits.

My name is Pete Januarius and I am a Co-Founder of Nexgen Codecamp. Before starting the company, I worked as a software developer for 25 years. Nowadays, as well as running the company, I work in Adult Education and A.I. I’m an ideas guy, forever working on and improving our original projects and our Canvas LMS online courses. Married, with 4 adult/teenage children, I can promise you my life is never dull! It’s a crazy journey…and I love it!
